just couldnt wait its my first ever home brew and its a coopers lager and im really shocked how nice it is, im not even much of a lager drinker, i used to be but im more into stouts and real ales , so i cant wait till i try them . well happy should have done this homebrew lark years ago. :party:
 
:clap: you can't beat the taste of your first brewed pint :thumb: your on a slippery slope to all grain brewing then all things shiney :grin:

not shore about all grain looks like to much hard work :grin: going to do the mid range kits then go on to the better ones when i know what im doing :hmm: cant wait till i can try my stout, what do you think i should do next , i love new castle brow ale so want to do some thing like that and i love cafferys as well any kits like that about :?: :party:

ive just bought a samson newkie brown kit not sure what its like but il be starting it monday so il post up what its like when its ready :cheers:
 
I just tried my home brew 2 weeks after it wahhz bottled. It has a citrusy taste is that because it hasnt aged or fully fermented or what

It tastes like that-it'll settle down in another two weeks but i prefer it before it gets to a month. It loses it's edge then, i like the citrus notes. :D

Forget Caffreys mate-it's nitrogen charged so you'll produce nothing like it with kits unless you want to spend loads on kegs and nitrogen. Try Muntons Nut Brown Ale-it makes newky taste like the ***** it is i reckon. I'd do that kit over any other kit i've done. :thumb:
