Thought we would give kit wine and country wine making a try.

Managed to get 12 demijohns for a fiver and thought best to get some wine on the go.

First two kits white and red wine.

started at 1.084

racked at .994

Next was the white, started at 1.092 coz I added sugar, not sure I should have but oh well!

Now for some country wines, I dont really know exactly what I was doing so I hope it works okay.

Summer Fruit Wine

Started at 1.092 and racked at 1.036

Still going strong and down to 1.020

Grape Juice Wine (Lidl)

Started at 1.084

This seems to be working well, but I did have an overflow through the air lock.

Red Grape and Blackberries

Racked lastnight at 1.020 and still dropping.

Turbo Cider

Just trying this to see what its like.

started at 1.046 and dropped to 1.004 in two days!

Might bottle this tonight.

Well I hope I'm doing things correctly. Really having a lot of fun with the country wines and started collecting bottles.

Hope this kits turn out okay.

Yup cant wait, just need to find them! ;)
 
hehe, the finding is all part of the fun of country wines, optimistically driving down leafy lanes and tracks, paying more attention to hedgerows, parks, riverbanks, railways while walking about etc etc
