Just lit the wood burner for the first time this late summer tonight got two big ash logs smouldering away.
My good lady has made a brisket and dumpling stew my three terriers are settled down by the fire.
Ive got more bottles of muntons premium gold IPA just like summer in a glass (sorry all you real grain brewers hopefully this time next year) than i could shake a stick at to drink what more could an Englishman want.

No wasn't that cold I just thought it might put my good lady in the mood. Very rare thing being able to just sit back and just enjoy life.
