easier than I thought...just need to cut some drain holes in it ..that'll be the difficult bit.

Looks excellent. Do you have a bazooka filter currently? Be interesting to see if this helps with efficiency if by getting a better run off.

Looks great, good work Clint. As Ajhutch says, will be interesting to see the difference with your current set up.

Quality bit of plumbing there Clint. Much neater than my bendy braided hose job with drilled PE-X tubing inside.

That should last you decades.

Yes,I have been using a bazooka filter that came with the cooler box mash tun. I've made this after a bit of discussion with Rob from Malt Miller. My current brews are all going to plan so should hopefully get another on for Saturday...I've managed to scavenge another 2m of pipe tonight off a work mate so might have a go at a sparge arm.

finished...deburred,mild detergent wash to degrease and clean and a good rinse. As for cleaning there's no soldered parts,it's made as a very snug fit in to the cooler with a purpose made slightly longer cross piece to jam it tight against the cooler sides. After use I'll take it to bits and bung it in a hot oxi soak.

Update...I brewed a Tribute clone today using the manifold and ditching my grain bag I usually use to line the tun.
Everything went well, cleaning the manifold was easy..just broke it down, scrubbed it through with a narrow valve brush and rinsed it in hot water.
Now to the best bit...I got 23.5 litres to fv at 1048 giving me 71.5% BHE...around a 10% increase!!
It'll work out a little stronger than planned but I'll cope!

Nice work. Going to make one of these myself instead of the bazuka filter. What fitting have you used to join the copper pipe to the bulk head of the tap? Thanks
