Belgian beers is the theme. I'm happy to accept anything that you think might be Belgian. Wit, saison, tripel, dubbel, grisette, blonde, amber, pils etc etc.

Judging will be at a yet-to-be-disclosed time in August, whenever I figure out when it's best to have it!
If you let me know what your preferred drinking temperature is, I can see what I can do. You've got the options of "cold fridge, drinks fridge or garage"

Yes. I will quite happily consider France and/or Netherlands to be a Belgian annexe for the purposes of this competition

Send them in anytime in the month of July. I'll keep them in the fridge until I judge them in August.

Nord/Pas-de-Calais, so French. But obviously that area has historically been quite fluid in terms of state boundaries.

No need. Since you didn't brew it in France or Belgium it;s neither. A farmhouse beer brewed in Nord Pas de Calais and its surroundings is called bière de garde and a farmhouse beer brewed over the border is called saison. The styles of both/either are so wide as to encompass anything that;s brewed in a farmhouse and then laid down for months to, typically, refresh the thirsty farm labourers. All styles have probably drifted away from their origins due to wars and changed farming practices. Both have become stronger and are often considered premium products when they ought, by rights, be be the dodgiest of rotguts.

Plenty of time left to enter. Judging will happen in August.

So far I've only had the one parcel arrive, so the chance of winning is quite high at the moment!
