Have been given a few of these, are they safe and strong enough for carbonation? They would be the perfect size for some nice strong belgian beers so i would like to use them if possible, anyone tried them?

They're not sold with carbonated drinks in so I'd avoid them myself.
I did use the 275ml size for my coffee wine though, as I thought that'd be the most anybody'd want of it in one go.

If they have had carbonated drinks in them they should be fine but if not then :nono: :nono:

Well a few of them are bitvic 50? or something like that which is carbonated so they should be fine but the others look identical to these, so would they actually be different bottles?

I would be surprised if they were different but I would always air on the side of caution.

The small coke bottles would be fantastic, those things can take crazy pressure.

I thought all of the J2o drinks were still so i'd give them a miss just to be on the safe side

Well around 10 of them are brit50 bottles which is sparkling orange, would they be ok?

depends how carbonated they are. I would avoid them the glass will probably be thinner than that in a beer bottle.

I've used these before, and they work well. Especially for a stout. Especially when people help themselves to a "coke" without asking and then swig directly from the bottle...

Hahahaha, very good :D
