It never ceases to amuse me that one of my local(ish) pubs is called The Bell and is at the end of Cock Road

not a pub but I was recently clearing out a tack room on a farm which my work had just bought and there were prize rosettes and nameplates for a horse called "Gay Commander" Needless to say that both myself and the kids who were helping me found it massively amusing!

There use to be one in Sheffield called the Cock and Pullet........ its gone now.

The Clipper sailing event came to Lough Foyle this summer. Someone had erected a large sign outside the village of Muff in Co. Donegal saying "Muff Welcomes Clipper" :lol:
