Bought is and used it once, didn't and since than been sitting in the drawer. Comes with rechargeable battery (Samsung 18650). It will need calibrating etc.

The calibration is a bit you have to go through - plenty of instructions here and online. After that they are easy to use. Brewfather app has integration for it, if you use that app.

I didn't even bother with calibrating mine, I still use a manual hydrometer to calculate percentage but the iSpindel is close enough to keep an eye on fermentation as it progresses
