had this stout in the fv for exactly 3 weeks today, never opened the lid and so haven't let 02 into it,it doesn't taste off and when I did a stout before around last may I also left it in the fv on that occasion for around the same time and I had exactly the same stuff floating on the surface of the beer and wasn't off because I drank it ,they are patches of white shell like looking clusters, cheers :thumb:
ps the bottom pic is looking into the empty fv and the patches are visible in being stuck to the side of it as it was drained

When I had a stout go bad the smell was unmistakably off. If the smell and taste are OK you may well be fine.

Looks like fat does it feel greasy , lots of grains and malts contain levels of fats ??????????????/

Mine looked the same and was fine. It was brown though, since i added bitter coco.
