Starsan hasn't hurt mine.
Fortunately for me, I'm using Videne, but I'll bear that in mind when I try StarSan.Blueface said:I got the tree but my LHBS told me not to bother with the squirter as star san rots the spring

They struck me as quite expensive bits of plastic, but now that I have one, I don't know how I could manage without one.Andysbrew said:... looking at bottle tree and rinser.
Are they worth the money for occasional use?

When I pour a beer the bottle gets brushed, rinsed, good spray with starsan then capped with a little square of tin foil.
Then on bottling day I give each bottle a shake, remove cap, pour out excess starsan and fill.
I don't faff around trying to balance the bottles upside down to completely drain.

Currently still using vwp and the rinsing is really doing my nut in.
That's exactly what I use :thumb:Berk said:What about using a spray bottle, like they use for misting plants, would that work? As I've got one of those at home, but I haven't got a bottle rinser.
