Most of which was created by the private sector & taken over by the public sector. In my opinion socialism doesn't get very creative but is normally better at running things until the money runs out.

Actually, as the state only has money provided by private individuals via taxation, the statement 'Most of which was created by the private sector' is only incorrect in so far as it should read 'all of which was created by the private sector'

However, once I've stopped being pedantic, I would point out that upon its creation, the NHS had a large number of hospitals instantly. Either this was a miracle of building works, or they were created by the private (usually charitable) sector then nationalised.
