Hello forum, how you all doing I hope your all brewing great batches.
So im here to introduce myself "who is your daddy and what does he do ?"
Well im .ABV. I'm 30, I work and live E S S E X, I love it but I love my beer even more :
A few months ago I went on holiday to the the isle of wight and bought a youngs cider home brew kit knowing nothing about this game.
I made the batch by following the idiots guide and used all my mates as guinea pigs to test it, they were happy to do so as i told them I had been brewing for years  anyway long story short my first home brew batch was a success :
I have recently added to my equipment and bought a few more goodies and was given some good advice from my local HBS,
I'll shed more light on this batch with my next post in the right section of the forum.
I also like the idea of switching to all grain brewing after xmas as I love my ales and I think get more satisfaction experimenting with grains and hops instead of being limited to canned liquid malt extracts (I know its an Art brewing ales but its something I really want to learn).
Until the new year i'll been keeping to the liquid malt extract kits but if anyone has any tips or advice they would like to share with me please feel free to reply to this msg or pm me it would be greatly appreciated.
Happy Home Brewing. :
