is canderel any good as a sweetner

Most supermarkets sell Splenda!
I believe the problem with Canderel is that it drops out of suspension after a period leaving the Must/Juice dry.
Sweetex has an unfortunate after taste.

I comapared the ingreients in the shop and hermasita was the closest but had lotsof other things in that splenda didnt but hermasita is also maltodextrin as is splenda the others are fructose and aspermanti or somesuch

I use Tesco Artificial Sweetened - same as splenda but much cheaper. Works every time for wine or cider.
