doing irish stout for next brew, do you think this would turn out good, i also want it to be over 5% abv (leaving this one for xmas).
coopers Irish stout, 1kg beer enhancer, 1kg brewing sugar 500g treacle 500g chocolate malt.

always usually stick to the kit instructions but i wanted to try something different. any advice would be very grateful.

Hi mate,

Im not sure you would need 1kg brewing sugar & 500g treacle, you would get away with using 500g of brewing sugar or less, and the results would still be good :thumb:

yes that sounds good, do you think it would be over 5%abv with them amounts. :)
