I have made up a 32 pint St Peter's Brewery IPA kit, and the beer is VERY bitter. I guess that time will help, but is there anything else I can do to make the brew drinkable?
Dry hopping won't get rid of the bitterness, the opposite of bitterness is sweetness. However a month or six weeks in a bottle and it will be a different beer. :thumb: :thumb: Time is the greatest tool a brewer has.
How long since you started the kit? It should mellow out a bit as it ages, as grays said it just needs time.
Get another brew on to go so when you've finished your IPA you'll have another one ready to drink
