Hi, I am a new member an expat from Derby, came over here for a holiday in 1978 and stayed always missed my beer. I thought with the upsurge in micro breweries in Australia we might get something half decent to drink but the only thing we get are poorly made clones of American IPA.
Now with the Aussie dollar being strong we are getting real American IPA, which I must say isn't bad but after all these years I still miss my English style beers. So I have armed myself with the Speidel Braumeister direct from Germany thanks again to a strong currency and :drink: :drink: I am back into brewing.
I am after a clone of Offilers best bitter, the ale I was weaned on, so if any one out there can help me it would be much appreciated

hi and welcome , not a bitter drinker my self but many many on here are , you've come to the right place :thumb:

yes 16c will work but between 18 and 20c is ideal , just keep then there for 2 weeks and all will be well mate, then cold storage for around 4 weeks before trying , the longer the better the brew gets ,p.s i take it you primed the bottles with sugar or something similar like honey etc
