:drink: Hi, my name is Dave, I hope I am doing this right, I am new to posting on a forum. I have a small room in the house dedicated to brewing, I must be the luckiest man on earth, my girlfriend approves of my 'brewery' and she doesn't even drink!! I am a big fan of old english ales and am currently using basic kits and adding different dmes to them. So far I have produced some very drinkable ales around 4.5 to 5.2. I do however have a question, there is talk that fluoride is going to be or has already been added to the tapwater; my question is, is it safe to make beer with fluoridated water?

Welcome to the forum - sounds like you have an ideal setup.

I am not aware of any problems brewing with flouridated water. You could debate whether you want your water supplier to be adding flouride to your water but I suspect that people have brewing with it for years without giving it a second thought.
