Including the recommendation to chuck in a kilo of (cheap) brewing sugar to an already lean (and cheap) 1.5kg kit can to make up a full 23 litres. These misleading instructions is why so many try and then stop making homebrew.
Eehhh you could but the beer would be like 2% Alc and very thin. Watery. I've tried shortening these kits to half but the result was very bitter because the kits are prehopped to 20liters. When I want a quick batch I use a lager can, q bag of better brew (a mix of sugar and DME) and chuck in some hops during boil. I boil the better brew without the kit. I also dryhopp when I feel like it. Made some pretty good beers this way.So can u just go ahead with 1.5 liquid malt can and hops to make a 20 litre brew no need for bag of dextrose??
