Hey all,
I've treated myself to an Inkbird 308 ready for my first kit brew which is a St Peters Ruby Red as some of you may recall
It says the temp should be 18-20c and I've only got a heat mat and will be brewing in the garage so hopefully the need to cool won't be necessary
So i was planning to start with :
TS=18c , CD=2c, HD=0c
and then increase to TS=19c and CD=1c after 2 days
sound about right, or am i being overly cautious and too precise ?
TIA
Example from Inkbird :
For example, set TS=25°C, CD=2°C , and HD=3°C, then when measured temperature is higher or equal to 27°C(TS+CD), system enters refrigeration status; when temperature decline to 25°C(TS), stop refrigeration; when measured temperature is lower or equal to 22°C(TS-HD), system enters heating status; when the temperature raised to 25°C(TS), stop heating.
