Rude not to try one of each

My general experience of "craft" ale from the budget supermarkets is that the price reflects the quality. Hoping there are some good ones in amongst the beer festival range that Lidl has got in. Unfortunately 'er indoors is doing the shopping this week, not sure what she'd come back with if I instructed her to get some. Might have to sneak a trip in over the weekend.

Hoping they'll have the Belgian packs in again for Father's Day as they are good.

Looking through the Lidl leaflet it seems it's a majority of the beers/breweries from their pre Xmas event. Some, I classed as ok for price but most had something wrong. I notice there was a sour beer on the current list. May try that if I can get it.

The vacuum sealer may got bought.

@Thatscold
Vacuum sealer looks good value. Snap up the rolls if they are available. My sealer only seal on a thin wire line so I always pull the bag out a bit more which allows me to put another sealing line close to the first one for added security.
Found a nice box for the freezer and made some alphabetised dividers for the hops which saves a tonne of time.

Lidl in Chad derby there was loads of sour left but all the high ABV beers and NEIPA had all gone.

Just been to my local store and picked up 9 assorted 440 ml cans. Was told that people had been buying it by the case yesterday.

Will be meeting up with my brother next week, so no doubt we will make a decent dent in them.

I just spoke to my son in London; he checked out his local store but reckoned the quality was poor, said he poured a couple away, and he doesn't do that lightly!

We are both Lidl/Aldi fans, but craft beer has not generally been one of their strengths, I have to say.

Pleased with this one...

Juicy, Flavourful and aromatic without any sweetness or overbearing bitterness! Good value at £1.79

LMAO looks that way doesn't it! Fished it out the recycling to take a picture then dawned on me I had the Lidl app. :tinhat:
