Members have their own opinions on subjects, like we all do about everything in life, just because they don't always match up doesn't mean there's division as a whole.

If this topic goes in any way the same way as Micks last post regards leaving, bad language, I'll feeling, unsubstantiated posts etc, it will be locked.

As far as I can make out you didn't break any rules and that would be the only reason someone would be banned.

Welcome back Mick and please, this time, try not to take anything to heart. It's really not a cliquey place - yes we do have "groups" within the forum but they certainly aren't exclusive, they're just like minded people who get on as they would do outside of cyberspace; yes we do have beer snobs (I'm one!) but one man's meat and all that, no one is going to have a pop at you for brewing what you brew (and if they do report the buggers, it's against THBF rules!); and yes, people will tell you to "go AG", but only because they too started brewing with kit beer and moved on to Extract or AG and believe they have seen an improvement in their beer or maybe just have more fun with it - it's no slight on kits or those who brew them, just a basic human instinct to pull people along and share their passion for what they're doing now, you never know one of them local to you might even offer you a brew on their gear if you fancied it.
