Had two bottles of this from Ed
The first didn't touch the sides so I took my time on this one
Photo to follow as I can't find my lead to plug in my phone :wha:
Black as porter can be, not much head or carbonation, so both bang on for me.
Not much in the way of aroma, but a big handful of liqourice on the taste not unpleasant but it's the majority of the taste. I have found that this has come from the dark spray malt, I had to go and find some beers with more dark spray malt in it to confirm this. The only concern is the hopping and Eddie knows this, it's highly hopped with a long bitter finish which is out of character for the style. But a very nice drop even though it's not a particular style but it's not for competion it's for drinking :drink:
Nice one Eddie keep up the brewing and keep playing with recipes it's only going to help improve the knowledge :thumb:
