What's your American amber recipe. Lovely beer when done right
This is the latest version which I'm brewing this weekend. I had a great Amber from Crafty Devil brewery in Cardiff which got me hooked on the style and I have been trying to nail a recipe for the last couple of years (this is version 6). This is the first time I have used English yeast, in the past I used American Ale 2. This is a 16l batch 70% efficiency.

I was thinking earlier today about which 5 styles of beer I like brewing and drinking the most.

If you could only brew 5 different styles for the next 5 years what would they be?

My 5 are;

1. Belgian Pale
2. American Amber
3.Belgian IPA
4.American Brown
5.Saison
Sherry
stout
ale
lager
Original oldskool IPA, none of the heart burn fruity one cans all you want

@dave_77 you git, I don't like to think this hard ever, but especially not on a Friday....

1) American Double IPA
2) Saison
4) Bitter
5) Barley Wine

I was really tempted to put this and see what the feedback was like :D

1) American IPA
2) American Double IPA
3) American Tripple IPA
4) Belgian IPA
5) American Session IPA

You still had room at number 3 for another IPA 😬
