I've now been brewing AG for about five years using a Braumeister from day one.
I have the following:
SS brewbucket which I like, but is it essential to make decent beer, no it just looks good.
14 gallon Chronical, again it looks great, but takes too much time to clean properly, I wouldn't recommend getting one.
Therminator and cooling coil. My last five brews I've done "No chill" and the results are consistently just as good. A lot less cleaning as well.
2 Brew fridges, I believe these are what makes for consistent brewing. E wouldn't be without them
12 Cornie kegs, I wouldn't be without them, I steam clean them which seems to work fine. Just need to ensure all the seals are good.
If I was to start from scratch again, I'd still go for the Braumeister but as for stainless steel FV's I wouldn't bother. If a plastic FV gets scratched etc, it's a very cheap option to replace.
