Ah! So, I misinterpreted your 16:46 post and all was good ... excellent, 'cos I couldn't see what was wrong with those piccies, and I don't have to describe myself as a "Southerner" now (and real Southerners can be thankful for not having to count me amongst them).

All adds extra weight to my thinking those shutoff valves I use on my (short) pump nozzles do influence my beer (I never have any use for "sparklers") ... I'll do some more work on that, but no hurry now.
