Idea for project: Wine Brew Online Tracking System

Hi all

As I am a developer I have an idea for a project to get stuck into. I have seen a few program's about which I enables you to track, monitor, log your home brew setups and times etc.

The issue with these is that they don't have much activity and are now not very active, so I was thinking of doing something myself web based, everyone can reach it and go from there.

Not sure on people's ideas on this and thoughts but want to get some starting feedback before I draw up my plan of where I want to go with it.

Any feedback would be great

What do you mean by "they're not very active"?

My brewing software and associated apps, web, etc is very active. I use Beersmith and its ace.

Assume you're meaning something different to beersmith? Keen to see what that is.

Hmm I didn't even come over Beersmith, not sure why as I'm sure the engines should have picked it up with those keywords!

Why not integrate it with a blog that let's you upload photos, brewdays etc? Social networking is the way to go for stuff like this...

Certainly an interesting idea, viral social media is always top up there with most things.
