I Spindel connection to grainfather app.

Can anyone help. I believe I’ve done everything correctly and the grainfather app is displaying temperature changes but the incorrect gravity. 1004 and this is in water and in wort so I must’ve don something wrong.

The grainfather app will only accept one update from the ispindel every 30 minutes, no matter what settings you've put into the ispindel.

So if you set the interval to be under half an hour, and put it in water, it'll send the figure of 1.004. if you then take it out within half an hour and put it into wort, grainfather will ignore the update and still tell you it's 1.004. wait half an hour and hopefully the next update will change it to a realistic value for your wort

It’s been in the wort since last night and is only recording temp

Hmmmm, odd

I can't explain that. I would say maybe restart the ispindel? I've had a few occasions where the temperature doesn't get reported (opposite to what you have though) and turning it off then on again fixed it
