Not bad for a NOOB!

I now have 5 remaining bottles of Coopers Canadian Blonde
I have 40 pints of Australian Pale Ale in the bottle readyfor fridge Friday.
And have just tonight bottled 40 pints of Coopers Lager :drink:

Best thing is I have a St peters ruby red ale ready to brew this weekend and am off to buy a Stout or Dark Ale.

OMG why is brewing it such fun???

:drunk:

This evening I have had a go at the Fiery Ginger Beer: viewtopic.php?f=39&t=5982&hilit=ginger

I brew alot because I love it.. I also have a limitless supply of empty bottles.

Also I have the occasional party.

Im working up afew lagers for the BBQ season in late August. :drink: :drink: :drunk: :drink: :drink:

As I can only achieve temperatures around 18 to 20degrees at the moment I am stuck brewing using ale yeast so Coopers kits are all i know of on the lager front as these are ok at 22 degrees which is ok for me.

Do you know of any other good lager kits which happily brew at 22 degrees?

any help appreciated.

Otherwise Im brewing ale until Autumn and Winter.

Its not the kit that you need to worry about.. ask your local home brew shop what lager yeast they have. Some require 8-11C which is way out of my range at the moment but plenty of the Belgian lager yeasts (bottom fermenter) work 11-22C.. so if your hitting 18 most of the time you should be fine! Just keep and eye out on a hot day. get over 20C and you'll get some off flavours.

Also remember its called lager because it should be stored for along time. If you use a lager yeast rather than the supplied kit ones then you can bottle condition at low (normal fridge temps) but for at least 5 weeks and beyond if you want really good tasting home brew. Thats why I brew lots.. because by the time its ready.. there is still some left to actually drink!!

If it's coming out of your ears you're doing it wrong.

If it's coming out of your nose at a rate of knots accompanied by diced carrots - well, that's another story.

Jees ur all showing off.

I have 55 botlles coopers Lager
40 pints Australian Pale ale

Fementing a St Peters ruby red ale

I only have 6 nearly full cornies, 1 full King Keg, 48 bottles, and 45 Litres fermenting.
 I've only got 3 full and two half Cornelii, no plastic kegs, 110 bottles and no beer fermenting. Must order more grain.

I've got a few bottles of wine though.

3 full cornies, 2 depleted, 80 litres fermenting and something like 100 bottles in boxes.
Plus some wine.
And some TC.
Oh and some ginger beer... and not forgetting the last few bottles of hard lemonade.

You are all bad influences,
I just know following you reprobates for a few weeks will have me buying Cornies.

I hate you all for this lolololoo!
