... everything else I've scavanged off skips (for free!), and this is the really important piece without which the rest of it is just a pile of trash, but with it, it's a work of art, that's actually useful. I've saved money already, and home made wine is so much more satisfying than shop bought plonk.

I order my stuff to be delivered when the other half won't be home.
Have it down to perfection and as I keep all the kit out in the garage when not in use she doesn't know what I have.
If she does find something expensive I tell her I got it months ago.
