Flushing through at the minute, then will be collecting for tomorrow’s brew. Finally got my head around the Grainfather water calculator, dilution rate will be adjusted for style. Session IPA tomorrow 80:20 RO:tap means no acid additions and finally some proper control over SO4:Cl ratios. The workbench is a temporary step at the minute while I work out where it’s final home will be.

How'd the book go on water. It's something I keep meaning to learn. My sophisticated method is to add a teaspoon of gypsum to west coast style IPA or if it's a Neipa it's a teaspoon of calcium chloride. Plus a bit of CRS to anything light coloured 🤭
Dark beers get nothing

Its very very detailed. I'd just got to the important parts, mash PH and controlling alkalinity when my holiday ended and I've been run off my feet all week. I've had an excuse not to pick it up for a few days to let the neurones rest.
JP was on the Beersmith podcast a couple of weeks ago. It's worth a listen as he goes through it in all in an easily digestible listen.
