Hello to you all,

I'm just taking my first baby steps into the art of beer making, a rather nice 40 pint set of Woodforde's Norfolk Ales. :) I started it all going on Sunday and am now sitting looking at it waiting for Friday to put it in my pressure barrel. :) I want to open the fermenter to see what's happening but don't want to ruin it so I'm keeping my hands off for now.

If this all goes well and I don't die when I drink it, I might look into a more advance set up, but first things first.

See you soon

Squiza

Nice to meet you!

I never crack the FV open but I do secondary ferment which gives me an opportunity to look, smell and taste. I wish women were as straightforward.

Hi Squiza

Welcome...If you can't wait.....get on and make another bugger that will keep you busy

Then you'll have two to watch

Thanks for the welcome guys, I've managed to resist, mainly thanks to getting th erather painful elbow bursitis which has blown up my elbow to 3 times it's normal size. :(

I'll have a pootle round the forum now and see what's going on.
