Ok, i have some pre isomised hop pellets for my Dusseldorf Alt. The instructions say I dont need to boil them, but I am using roasted barley with my extract so I will be boiling my brew anyway. Should I mash them with the grains and extract, then remove them before the boil, or just chuck them in for an hour anyway. I am thinking of getting some extra hops to give the 5 minute aroma thing a shot.

Any feedback on using these things will be a massive help as I will be doing at least 1 more brew with my batch of pellets.

P.S - dont worry, I will be buying proper hops next time I order, but just need help getting through these brews!

they need about 10 mins boil to achieve utilisation. so just chuck them in the extra time will not effect them

you could just drop the hops in with 10 mins to go and get the bittering and aroma done in a single hit, cheaper and should get loads of aroma as loads more hops.
