How to add hops and other additions to my fermenter?

A big dry hop can be harsh in the first few weeks, and result in hop burn. It usually mellows over time. I assume that's 50g in 23L which is just over 2g/litre - so should be quite nice.

Would you say 50g for 38hrs is a big dry hop?

I was going to do 20g but for some reason I can't explain, I changed it to 50g...

Not for an IPA but for a lager it's quite a lot. I wouldn't say it'd be too bad though
