When I worked on a fish farm in scotland we were regularly 'bombed' by jets. They used to also chase cars up the Bealach na Ba a very narrow winding road through the applecross hills. At one point the jets are below the road and as the road switched back a jet could seemingly climb from nowhere infront of the cars. It was great fun to watch. Not so much fun when we were transporting fish by helicopter (yes flying fish) and two tornados came top gun stylee from know where and buzzed the helicopter. The problem being that a fast jet can cause a vacuum causing a helicopter to crash. The pilot said it was a common occurrence in the highlands.
