As title please , I usually use 1 tsp to 500ml bottle. so how much for a 2ltr, 4x?

I usually use 2 tsp for Beer 3 for Lager
But I suppose it's all down to how fizzy you like your brew

I agree with this advice from Gav - not too rounded spoonfulls though.

PET bottles survive a lot of pressure, but if you over prime the yeast bubbles up when you take the lid off. You get a lot of yeast off the bottom and it clouds the beer / lager. Coopers yeast flocculates well and does minimise this issue.

For anyone interested:

My 3 part pour serving method out of a 2 litre PET bottle is:

Pint glass + 2L Plastic jug + other glass 200ml - 250ml

Pour carefully first into pint glass, move very smoothly onto 2L jug, stop pouring at first sign of obvious yeast, pour remainder into other glass and drink immediately. This "other glass" does not look nice but is actually OK to drink. The squeamish can use it for gravy.

Most of it is pretty clear usually - IME the Coopers yeast clears very nicely and the yeast from Wilko (which I understand to be Nottingham) benefits particularly from the 3 part pour method.

Hope this is of use to you guys.

Thanks for the replies fellas, i'll go with the 3 tsp as its a lager, never used the 2ltr bottles before, just gonna try it out on a cheap pilsner kit from wilkos.
Thanks for the pouring method slid, i was wondering how to get it out without disturbing too much sediment.
