i got some isinglass from work on saterday 1/2 pint per firkin so 1/4 pint per 5 gallons how long will it take to clear once its stillaged???

that's all gobbldegook to me mate - isinglass needs to be stored under 20c at all times, and an isinglass solution mustn't get too hot while being made up... if it does it loses most, or even all, it's fining properties as I understand it.. so if it's not working within 24-48 hours I'd say it was a duff batch of isinglass...

when I last used isinglass I gently stirred a solution of it into the fermenter at the end of the ferment, left it 2 days, and bottled. Wouldn't like to leave it in the fermenter any longer than that...

If your IG is fresh and good it could be finished overnight, though I normally left mine a couple of days. A good indicator it to fill a trial jar and fine that, leave it and see when it clears...that's also a good way to see if the IG you have is any good.
