Hi
I'd like to have my first attept at harvesting and storing yeast from my next brew.
Initially I was planning to bottle the batch and use as a yeast bank as per Graham Wheelers advise. Looking at other threads/advice on here and elsewhere though, the general concensus seems to be that it's best to harvest from the FV, preferably from the Krausen.
I've had a quick search and can't find any advise about the practicalities of this, and I wondered what the best way of doing this is from a plastic FV bin? Do I just scoop some out and put it in a sterilized container?
Would also be grateful if someone could advise if a particular type/style of beer would be best for harvesting yeast from?
Would be great to bring the cost of brewing down a bit by saving yeast!
Thanks.

Just noticed a very simliar thread just posted, with the answer to my question. Marvelloous!
