If you're finding you're producing too quickly using kits, then that's a sign you should move to AG and get in to some of the more specialised methods. Kit beers are quick but ultimately you're just adding water and waiting the minimal time. For me, brewing is about doing things that I can't buy, or doing things I can buy better!

With a single run set-up you can make 80 pints of average kit beer a month or 40 pints of something more complex and ultimately better tasting. Get into wild beers, and you're looking at 40 pints of something unique every 12 months!

If you want to brew for capacity, that's easy. If you want to brew for quality or experimentation, then volume will drop.

or build yourself a nice way of storing them so they are more of a display than storage? but this eventually get full, so i have to agree with a lot of the guys here and if its a real problem then just brew smaller

I have to be honest and say that out of all the problems I encounter brewing, sanitising, mashing, bottling, kegging and conditioning, the absolute least problem is how to dispose of the end result. I usually find a good film, a footie match, a few mates or a good book help immensely. Good luck in your efforts :thumb:

One blow out a week..say 6/8 bottles that's 24/32 gone straight away..then there's the odd one because you can and few to put away...soon gets through em in a month.

I have the opposite problem, but then I was rather flattered when the doctor said I was a high-functioning alcoholic.

If you tend to only drink with meals, make sure that you've included breakfast and lunch in your planning.

I brew every other week and probably only drink 10 pints a week so have quite a lot spare. My missus drinks a few of the pale ales but even then there are plenty of spares. I tend to give a few friends and my dad gets rid of the rest (he usually gets what I don't really like!).

Just got to become a drunk. Works for me. This whole week has been nothing but a binge fest.
