How do you gas your corny kegs?

Once its carbonated would you remove the gas line though? Then just top it up if you lose pressure?

No, I leave it connected until the keg is empty. The carbonation will stay in equilibrium with the pressure that the gas is on. If you set it right, your beer will remain at the perfect level of carbonation through out...

i might not be able to leave it connected as i will be using more than one keg but ill definately try leaving it for a week to slowly carbonate

Once the beer is at the right level of condition it doesn't have to stay connected to the gas anymore. You only need it connected when you pour from the keg...

I'm new to using the corny kegs. I take I'm doin it wrong as when I brought them off a chap, he said to carbonate at 30 psi for a week then disconnect gas and just release pressure until its right to how I want it thro tap. After a while pressure goes so add gas again to top up and release some pressure then drink again

With my setup I carb at 15PSI and keep letting gas in daily until it stops needing any (you can hear the co2 being released from the cylinder) its about a week depending on temp. The beer is fully carbed up to this PSI and this is the pressure it stays at. (Saves major messing about) I have set up beer line length from this to pour a perfect pint.

Yep, this advice is piss poor really. I'd never recommend doing that.

there is no single pressure to set your reg to. always use a chart and set it differentot for each beer style and temperature. my kegs tale two weeks to condition nicely at 10 degrees. some say a week is fine. we say a week and it will start to condition improving from then onwards. I then clean my lines and dispense at 3psi. have no issues with beer losing carbonation at this pressure.
