Sunak says "We are not seeking confrontation" unfortunately Iran's foreign minister doesn't see it that way and has warned the US that their strikes in Yemen are a "strategic mistake"

There's an election coming up and Sunak needs a war. Wars a great as it makes us feel we're all in it together against a common enemy. It worked for Thatcher with the Falklands, but Thatcher had a a respectable armed forces and Sunak doesn't have much more than a few CCF groups and some superannuated dinosaurs who are capable of little more than huffing and puffing. Training? Why are we crashing our ships into each other?Everyone a US flagged ship why are we joining in, The USA is big enough to look after it's self. Sunak saying it is self defence, of what

You're labouring under the misunderstanding that where in the world a ship is 'flagged' or registered has anything to do with who owns it, who's operating it, who's chartering it, who's crewing it and who is benefitting from its services and the origin and destination of the cargo the ship is carrying and who's benefitting from the movement of that cargo. The flag a ship is registered under is just a bit of paperwork and the country of registration chosen to do with regulatory and commercial convenience. There is certainly no obligation on the nation under which a specific vessel is registered for them to offer protection in international waters or anywhere else for that matter.Everyone a US flagged ship why are we joining in, The USA is big enough to look after it's self.
