Hot Water Cylinder - a possible mash tun?

I am going to be getting a combi boiler soon and will be having my hot water cylinder going spare. I know that some breweries use copper tuns, and was wondering if it would make a viable large mash tun? It already has that blown foam on the outside so would probably not need much more insulation.

Would it do the job?

You must have directed your brain waves in my direction cos I suddenley thought the same thing just the other day :wha: unfortunatly my copper cylinder went to the scrapies
