Hops have been stealing my beer !!

I had a spare day after Christmas as the wife and kids went visiting, I thought it best to stay home and get a brew on. :thumb:

It seemed the perfect time to make a big IPA to have ready for spring / summer, I forgot how much dried hops can suck up....

630 grams of hops went in altogether, this is what was left after draining the boiler ( which is 70 litres ) :shock:

My planned 36 litres ended up at nearer 31 litres, but still means a cornie and a good few bottles for the summer :

Yeah - was happy with everything else, I just normally have my losses to hops taking into account around 200g and forgot to adjust them... hey ho
