Hops added at turn off.

Hi There,

When hops are added at turn off do they just stay there for however long it takes to get the wort cooled down and into the fermenter?

the recipe will usually determine how long the hops steep for and at what temp but usually if you add at 90 mins the steep is for roughly 30 mins
