This will be my third year of growing my Cascade hops in pots. Still surviving after heatwaves and aphids. But no flowers,,, A back up now is even growing very well in Durham from re-planted suckers.
However, this years excess heat caused did cause big problems with hydration, tip loss and leaf burn.
Then I followed up on a recent Vinepair article and found this; http://www.hydrohopfarms.com/hydroponics.html
Seems like some good pointers in there anyone else using humic acid? I have plenty seaweed,,,,,,, :thumba:
I've now even been promised some landrace hops from Argyll. Is anyone else growing such hardy Northern plants? PS, They get cones as well!
