Anyone know if anyone makes/stocks a hopback for homebrew use?

No idea, but depending on your diy skills it may be cheaper to make one.

I think blichman make something called the hop rocket which is aimed at home brewers. Only downside is you can only really use it with a pumped system as you have to force the wort through it.

so I thought I would make one of these for cold dry hopping the cornie keg should I want/need to alter the taste profile,already had a couple of shut off valves and wanted a jar or something that my large tea ball would fit to hold and filter the hops,i then purchased 2x 3/8 JG bulkhead fittings and stumbled across what supposed to be an airtight liquid tight lockable heavy plastic food grade jar from TK Max for a couple of quid.so today I drilled the lid and got two lovely tight fits for the JG Bulkheads and went for a test run with plain water,absoloute disaster of a failure as the pressure(serving pressure) when built up forced the water out from under the 0 ring seal:-(,now its either a largish wide neck (115mm minimum) screw lid mason jar if they stay everything tight or go for the eBay ready made one for 33 quid in linky................a thouroughly disappointing day:thumb:

Expensive the replacement filters at £2.40 a once use throw,that's why I wanted to make my own with the SS teaball use as many times I want jobbo

had another go with an empty pickling jar,but alas another dismal failure,need a proper screw down top jar jobbo as when the jar fills with liquid the pressure starts building and forces the liquid out from under the jar cap..........suggestions?
