is it ok 2 hop tea and dry hop or is this overkill whats the best method

Either or both, all good!

Depending on how you make your hop tea, you will get more or less bitterness and less or more flavour/aroma. If you boil it a while you get more bitterness and less flavour...

Dry hop is all aroma and flavour and is really crisp and fresh.

What is better is really down to the base you are using and what you want to achieve.

as you will all guess am a newby looking 2 use coopers cerveza with muntons enhancer im really after a stella kind of taste an was thinking 15g saaz hop tea boiled for 10 min in 1ltr water and 15-20g saaz dry hop leave in fermenter but not surejust after some advice

ment 2 say i have both loose hops and pellets didnt now what 2 get so got them both was thinking loose for dry hop and pellets for tea

you would be better using loose whole hops for the tea and the pellet for the dry hopping :thumb:

N.B. you are best to use a fine musilin bag or similar for the dry hop or the hops will be a nightmare.

Do you think 15g hops for tea boil for 10 min and 20g of pellets for dry hop in at the start for 4 days would be ok the brew shop said chuck it in right at the start but Iv read wait till the foam sinks an chuck it in then confused

yeah i would wait till it stops bubbling ie foam sinks to preserve hop flavour as much as pos- btw i read a hop tea is best left to infuse for about 20-40mins in below boiling water- and make sure its sealed ie clingfilm- if really paranoid like me u can add it to the bottling bucket or equivalent for max effect...

Sorry for my ignorance Iv only used my coopers home brew kit so don't know what a botteling bucket is m8 an do I cover the pot with clingfilm an let it simmer for 20 -40 min
