So, I know there are ways of balancing beers based on Bittering Units / Gravity Units which gives you some measure of balance depending on the style you are brewing.
What about general balance or ratios of hops in the recipe? Is there a way say to calculate the optimal (not always right) ratio of hops based on another variable of the hop makeup?
Say I have Citra and mosaic. How do you work out the ratio?
Interested in peoples thoughts or findings from scrabbling online. I'm probably not looking for the right info.
