I have 80g of Goldings pellets left for future dry hopping. They came vacuum sealed and smelling great.

I have read people say to vacuum pack and freeze hops for storage, to protect the alpha acids. However, seeing that my use will just be for dry hopping, I wonder if freezing is the best way, or whether this would harm the volatile aromatics?

Yep I store all my hops in the freezer, I put the silver vacuum bag inside those resealable freezer bags you can buy and squeeze as much air out as I can when putting them back. I've not noticed any loss of aroma or otherwise and they all seem as fresh as when first purchased. I also use pellets for dry hopping with no problems also :thumb:

Brilliant, thanks. I will freeze them then. I've just dry hopped a Woodforde's Wherry kit, which was already very nice, but 20g Goldings pellets really brought it to life and they settled down well.
