Hi All,

Does anyone know if any brews shops sell pre packaged hop kits?

I have been looking at the following, but their standard shipping costs more than the product itself - http://www.thehomebrewcompany.co.uk/hbc ... -1640.html

I have looked at several online shops so far with no luck, I already have the malt extract (thanks to the recent wilko sale).

Anyone know anywhere?

Thanks

Martin

The Worcester hop shop sell AG kits for £9.99. Or in other terms, 40 pints at 25p per pint.

Plus the shipping, of course. Might be worth starting off with one of those, and adding in some general-use hops to the order to take advantage of the shipping.

EKG, Challenger, Target, Fuggle & Northern Brewer are good standard english hops whilst Citra, Centennial, Cascade will do the american pale ales and Saaz & Hallertau will do the german beers. A bit of a generalisation, but not too far off.

Once you have a kit like that, you will have enough hops to brew almost all styles.
