After Wezâs call for pics, I thought Iâd better knuckle down and produce some from my other 2 bines.
They were only planted last year so this is their first proper growing year.
You will notice from the size of my âOastâ that I have great expectations (wishful thinking) for the years to come.
The bines in their normal growing positions. I will be adding horizontal extensions to the top to keep the bines further apart.
Fuggles lowerd to maintenance / harvest position.
Hops as picked, Fuggles in the Fv and Brambling X in the Bucket.
Hop cones separated from the bits of bine, Fuggles 104gms and Brams 28gms.
The Oast broken down into itâs various parts
Fuggles in the lower bin, looking very lost.
Oast assembled with heating controlled by my PID 47C
Hops vacuum packed and ready for storage bin. Fuggles 24gms and B Cross 8gms.
I donât think anyone need be afraid that Iâll cornering the Hop market.
